Title: Solace of the Road
Author: Siobhan Dowd
Short Summary: Holly Hogan or afterwards Solace (main character) wants to see her mum which lives in Ireland, so she runs off from her foster home which is in London. She meets people on her way to Ireland that help her. On the way she changes from Holly Hogan to Solace because she wears a blond wig.
Why I like this book?: I like this book because it shows how Holly (Solace) is brave! I also like the fact that she always remembers her times in Ireland before she got sent to England. The only thing I do not like is that when you start reading this book you do not understand it but after the first two chapters you do.
